| Brother Conner is a 29-year member of Automotive Lodge
777 and was initiated into the Machinists Union in April of 1977 when he
began his career as a Diesel Truck Technician at Yellow Freight System. During his 20 years of employment at Yellow, Conner was elected to Assistant Shop Steward, and a short time later to Chief Shop Steward. Also while fulfilling his duties as shop steward Conner became active within his Local Lodge serving in several positions on the Executive Board as Conductor, Sentinel, and Trustee. In February of 1997 the International President appointed Conner to Grand Lodge Organizer where he served until May of 1998, at which time, he joined District 9’s Staff. Conner was recently elected as a delegate to represent his Local Lodge at this year International Convention, of which will be his forth. Conner currently serves as a delegate to the St Louis Labor Council and the Missouri State Council of Machinists and is member of the Guide Dogs Committees, as well. |

to Trades & Labor and is President for them., He is a present
Delegate to the Illinois Council of Machinists, A Delegate to the
AFL-CIO, Was Chief Auditor 2004 to the Illinois State Council of
Machinists. Has had Officers Training and Committeemen & stewards
training. Past Grievance Committee & Strike Committee. Has just been named to the Human Rights Committee for the City of Quincy. |
