Congressman Phil Hare held an informal
meeting at the Machinists Lodge on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at
11:00 a.m. Congressman addressed new issues and answered questions
from the audience. |

| Congressman
elaborated on the bill for medical care for all children. The
President has turned this down twice and it will be going up for a
third time. There is high hopes that this bill will go through on
this third time. |

Congressman talked about
the No Kids Left Behind act. He spoke on the conditions of the Dam’s
up and down the Mississippi and the funding that has gone through
for this project. He spoke on illegal immigrants in our country and
how he feels this should be handled. |
||
