2007 LABOR DAY PICNIC
The Western Trades & Labor Assembly and the
Machinists Local Lodge 822 would like to welcome you and your family to
its annual Labor Day Picnic for 2007. We are all here to have an
enjoyable day filled with fellowship with our fellow union members and
their families and food and games. We would like to let everyone know
the rules and regulations for the eating lines and the games for today.
Soda is available in the machine inside and outside in the tubs for 25
cents a can. Beer is available outside for a donation of 50 cents per
cup.
Lunch will start at 12:00pm, please have your gray lunch ticket
available. All handicap people will be called to get in the eating line
first, followed by retirees from all unions. If a retiree would like to
eat with their family, they can fall in at the end of the regular
retiree line with their family. After the retirees, we will then call
for all other union members and their families to get in line. Everyone
will file past the registering table (Jeannie Thomas) and give her your
lunch and door prize ticket and she will get the amount of people you
have with you and your Local union you are with and then give you your
half of the ticket to keep for the door prizes that will be drawn later.
If you need help with your plate or drink or for anything else, their
will be kids available for your help, they will be announced before
eating. After you are finished with your plates, please put them into
the garbage cans provided.
Bingo will start at 2:00pm, with door prizes given away during bingo,
with major door prizes given out at the end of bingo. Bingo cards and
beans will be brought around to your table, so please do not go get them
early. It will be announced. Please only (1) one bingo card per person.
You must be inside when door prizes are being drawn, or leave your
ticket with someone inside with your name on it to watch, as no-one will
be outside calling out numbers.

while supply last. Adults can purchase them one at the Ice stand for
